Skin tags are very common, harmless skin growths that can appear anywhere on the body, particularly around the neck, underarms and areas where skin rubs together.
Using Advanced Electrolysis, suitable skin tags can be treated quickly and precisely, with treatment tailored to the size, location and number of tags being removed.

What are skin tags?
Skin tags are small, soft growths of skin that are usually harmless. They often appear on areas where skin rubs against skin or clothing, such as the neck, underarms, beneath the breasts or around the groin.
They can vary in size and may be skin-coloured or slightly darker. Although they don’t usually need treatment for medical reasons, some people choose to have them removed because they catch on clothing or jewellery, become irritated, or simply because they would prefer not to have them.
TREATMENT
How I treat skin tags
Skin tags can be treated using Advanced Electrolysis, with the technique chosen according to the size and shape of the tag. A very fine sterile probe is used to deliver a controlled electrical current to the tissue, allowing the skin tag to be treated precisely.
Small tags can often be treated very quickly. If there are several tags, or they are larger or in a more sensitive area, treatment may take a little longer or be spread over more than one appointment.
I’ll assess the area before treatment and explain what is realistic for you before we begin.

What happens afterwards?
Over the next few days
The area should be kept clean and left to heal naturally. It’s important not to pick or remove any crusting, as this can interfere with healing.
As the skin heals
The crust will gradually come away on its own. Healing time varies depending on the size and location of the tag and how your individual skin responds.
Immediately after
The treated area may look red and feel slightly warm or tender. A small crust can form where the skin tag has been treated.
You’ll be given clear aftercare advice following your treatment.
Your treatment includes an aftercare product to take home, along with guidance on how to care for your skin as it heals.

A consultation is required before treatment and is charged separately at £25.
For many small or straightforward skin tags, a 15-minute appointment may be enough. The number that can be treated will depend on their size, location and how straightforward they are to treat.
If you have several tags, larger tags or areas that need more time, a longer appointment or further treatment may be recommended.
I’ll assess the area at your appointment and explain what can realistically be treated within the time available.
