ABOUT SARAH
Nearly 40 years of experience in electrolysis and skin blemish removal
I’m Sarah Hurst, an experienced electrolysis and Advanced Blemish Removal practitioner based in Brighton.
I first trained in electrolysis and Advanced Cosmetic Procedures in 1986, qualifying in 1988. Since then, my career has taken me from hands-on treatment to teaching and clinic ownership, while Advanced Electrolysis has remained an important part of my professional work.
EXPERIENCE
A career built around skin and electrolysis
After qualifying, I continued to develop my skills through further education with the British Institute & Association of Electrolysis and the Sterex Academy.
I later taught electrolysis at Sussex Downs College, helping students develop the technical skill and confidence needed to work safely and professionally.
I then went on to run my own specialist skin clinic, where Advanced Electrolysis and skin blemish removal formed an important part of my work.
TODAY
Specialist treatment in central Brighton
Today, I offer Advanced Blemish Removal appointments at Turn Beautiful in central Brighton.
My work focuses on the careful treatment of suitable skin blemishes including skin tags, milia, facial thread veins, blood spots, seborrhoeic keratoses, xanthelasma, mole reduction and other concerns that can be treated using Advanced Electrolysis.
Every client begins with a consultation so that I can assess the area properly, explain the options and make sure treatment is appropriate before we proceed.
MY APPROACH

I’ve always believed that good treatment begins with knowing when to treat, how much to treat and when not to treat at all.
I take a straightforward, professional approach to Advanced Electrolysis. I’ll tell you what I think is realistic, whether more than one treatment may be needed and if I feel something should be medically checked before we go any further.
My aim isn’t to sell you treatment. It’s to make sure that, if we do treat the area, we do it carefully, appropriately and with a clear understanding of what to expect.
