Yes. All new Advanced Blemish Removal clients begin with a consultation. This allows me to assess the area, make sure it appears suitable for Advanced Electrolysis and talk you through the treatment, healing and expected results before we proceed.

Sometimes. If the blemish is straightforward, suitable for treatment and there is enough time available on the day, I may be able to carry out treatment following your consultation. There is no need to book additional treatment time in advance. If a separate or longer appointment is needed, I’ll advise you after assessing the area.

Not everyone will need one. A patch test may be recommended depending on the type of blemish, the area being treated and how your individual skin is likely to respond. Where appropriate, this can usually be carried out during your consultation.

This varies considerably. Some small, straightforward blemishes may only need one treatment, while larger, deeper or more established concerns may need further treatment once the skin has fully healed. I’ll explain what is realistic for you at your consultation.

If I don’t feel Advanced Electrolysis is appropriate, or there is anything I think should be medically checked first, I won’t proceed with treatment. I’ll explain why and, where appropriate, recommend that you seek advice from your GP or another medical professional.
